PREPARING THE SITE
Here are some pictures of the removal of the topsoil, removal of trees and stumps
and the layout.
Oops! It seems that the excavator was too big to fit down the driveway!
We finally got the Excavator back to the site with the help of my neighbor's driveway.
Next is removing the trees and stumps. Obviously, not a problem . . .

Next, all of the topsoil was stripped off and piled up. You can see all of the nice sand that
was hiding below. This will make a great base for the foundation.

Here is the topsoil getting loaded out to be removed from the site. That truck holds 35
cubic yards and four truckloads were removed!!!
