1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula 305 TPI

The Basics:  This is my 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula, with a 305 TPI, 5
speed stick, 3.45 posi rear, dual cat exhaust and 4 wheel discs.

Note: I ordered this car back in '88 and am the original owner.  It has
every option except T-tops and power antenna.

See the bottom of this page for all the details on the car and
modifications.
The above pictures were taken back in 1989 when the car was new.

The below pictures were taken in February 2005.  Can you find any differences?

Details:

- Rare LB9/MM5 engine/trans combination.  Ordering this combo
got you the WS6 suspension system with 4 wheel discs, dual
catalytic converters and a 3.45 posi rear (not the 3.27).
- The all silver rims with all silver center caps and lug nut covers was
only available on Formulas.
- In '89, there were many color choices for Firebirds and T/A's but
Formulas could only be ordered in white, black, red or powder blue.
- In '89, you could not order the 350 (5.7) motor with a stick.
The 350 was rated at 235 hp while the Formula with the 305 and
the 5 speed (LB9/MM5) was rated at 225 hp.  Factor in the added
weight of the T/A and the Formula was the fastest 'Bird for '89
(other than the turbo T/A).
